Peter Marx
President

Peter Marx has been involved with digital media and the Internet for more than 20 years as an attorney, Washington policy advocate, corporate venture capitalist and entrepreneur. He has been a partner at Goulston & Storrs, General Counsel of Chase Manhattan Bank subsidiary Interactive Data Corporation and staff attorney in the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance. His book series, Contracts in the Information Industry, was published by the Software & Information Industry Association. He has written dozens of articles on strategic issues related to digital media and online information services.

For 17 years he has produced and hosted Business Insight, an award-winning public access TV show, that has been broadcast in major markets including Boston, New York and Washington, DC. and is now on the Web.   Click here to view a list of Business Insight topics and guests.

He holds BA, MBA and JD degrees from Cornell University.

Barbara Marx
CEO
Ms. Marx heads up the Company's consulting practice. She created the CommonView, a strategic process for helping firms develop a compelling and differentiated message. The CommonView process helps build consensus around an organization's key strategic initiatives.

Previously, she consulted with a broad range of national and international corporations, institutions and professional service firms on strategic messaging, positioning and branding programs. She has held of variety of executive positions including Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Fidelity Investments where she directed the branding of the firm's 401(k) offering and SVP & general manager of Hill and Knowlton (H&K) New England.

Ms. Marx is a past president of the Boston Club, the city's largest organization of professional women, and currently serves on the Board of the Commonwealth Institute, an organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurial and corporate women grow personally and professionally. Ms. Marx holds a BA degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MS in communications from Boston University.

 

Maria LaTour Kadison
Director of Online Marketing
Ms. Kadison has had extensive experience with digital media campaigns, including e-mail marketing, search engine optimization and website strategy.

Previously, she was Vice President of Marketing at Simmons College. She was a nationally recognized expert in online marketing while a senior analyst at Forrester Research in Cambridge and, prior to that, was a vice president at the communications firm Bozell Sawyer Miller.

Ms. Kadison holds a BA in economics from Emory University and, as a Yale Fellow, received joint Masters in International Relations and MBA degrees from Yale University.

 

Michael Kolowich
Director of Videography
Mr. Kolowich began his career as a television news reporter.  He was trained in broadcast journalism at both CBS News and Westinghouse Broadcasting.  He received an Emmy Award for his work at WGBH-TV in Boston.

He was the founder of Ziff-Davis Interactive, the first new media company born of a major publishing company.  He was previously a partner at Bain and Company and is the president and executive producer of our production partner Diginovations.

He received a bachelor's degree in Engineering and Applied Physics from Harvard College and an MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School.

 

Bill Charette
Director of Field Production
Mr. Charette began his career at WGBH-TV, Boston in 1970 where he worked on every major WGBH production including Julia Child's French Chef, Zoom, Frontline, American Experience, Nova, Masterpiece Theater and the Boston Pops.  Additionally, he served as the Director of Photography on Martha Stewart's first Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Specials, and the pilot for her current series.  He has also worked on dozens of network specials and magazine shows including 20/20, The Today Show and the nightly network news shows.  He is senior videographer and director of photography of our production partner Diginovations.
